Dear Members,

Evil has struck again through terrorists who have no respect for the sanctity of human life. The horrific attacks in Mumbai have caused needless loss of innocent lives and left enduring pain in their wake. The appalling callousness with which the attacks were executed begs the question of what good the perpetrators hoped to achieve. Indeed, these were evil acts for which there can be no justification and such wanton destruction of life can only be devilish. This is sin no matter how one looks at it and should therefore be strongly condemned. We all know that most terrorist attacks have been carried out by a few active terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda, Mujahidin, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish e-Mohammed and others. Unfortunately these groups have some connection with particular country and community, meaning that some people are committing deadly sins and destroying the reputation of the entire community in the process.

I have discussed the issue of terrorism many times in the past, and the following are some of the factors at play in regard to terrorists:

- Ignorance and lack of education

- Male domination of society

- Extreme faith in religious leaders without modernization

- Creating belief that the world is against them   

The key issue within the this community is the thinking that religious rules and regulations are final because they are from God; and that teachings from spiritual leaders are 100% true. Due to fear and concern about the community, no one has ever dared to come up with an alternate path. As I have stated before, we have made great strides in all other aspects of life and embraced a progressive path, except in religion. Only religion remains on the same old path, which is so deep rooted that no one has the guts to even touch it. Why do we unquestioningly follow the same old path of religion that was created by religious leaders in times gone past? Whatever was laid down in ancient times had its usefulness no doubt at the time, but it is not necessarily true that everything was 100% right. It may have been right during that time frame according to realities of the world during that period, but we are now in a different epoch. We are therefore in urgent need for massive changes in religion, not only Islam but all religions. We have accepted technology and new innovations in every other area and it is high time that we had transformation in religion. 

It might as well be that some of these groups are taking advantage in the name of religion and taking the entire community onto the wrong path. It is even quite probable that a number of these groups have their own interests while carrying out their activities as terrorism has become big business. Attacks and escalation in terrorist activities focuses the world’s attention on these groups and they use this to solicit more money in the name of religion. Furthermore, it is quite interesting that top leaders of such terrorist groups never go to fight but they convince, hypnotize and send young people to fight, telling them that they will go to haven. If this is true then religious leaders should be going first for fight because they will be first one who should grab the sit in haven.     

I always like to write and express my feelings, and I have been doing this for years. I was in deep sorrow after the 9/11 attacks, and the incident caused me to evaluate my work. After the attacks, I decided to become more positive in my focus and stopped concentrating on horrific predictions, pain and negativity. As you know, I used to predict a lot about war, terrorist attacks and other geo-political events, but I drastically scaled down after 9/11 and resolved not to become a prophet of doom and destruction. I therefore shifted focus and directed 99.99% of my energy to the world financial markets. As a matter of fact, I enjoy predicting about the world financial market and the world economy. I therefore do my best to try and present an overall picture of the future well in advance. Anyway, we should all take a minute today and pray for the innocent people who have lost their lives in the last three days of horror in Mumbai. This one minute is enough for their souls to get peace and assurance and that there are still people on this planet who still care for peace and have love for humankind.

FACE YOUR PAST WITHOUT REGRET,

HANDLE YOUR PRESENT WITH CONFIDENCE,

PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE WITHOUT FEAR”.

THEN HE ADDED:

“KEEP THE FAITH AND DROP THE FEAR.

DON’T BELIEVE YOUR DOUBTS  

AND NEVER DOUBT YOUR BELIEFS

Last week many people were in a holiday mood, while concern around the world was on happenings in India. There was therefore not much trading, which was almost like the month of December when people relax and take it easy. However, this December will be quite different as planetary movements will remain aggressive. One should therefore not ignore his position or portfolio.
