Last week, Bloomberg covered a story on Financial Astrology. No one in India had heard about financial astrology when I started in 1992, but when I started publishing my reports, many people saw this as an opportunity and started calling themselves Financial Astrologers.
Now, every day new financial astrologers are born as they find it an easy way of making money, and I am scared that the name of astrology will get damaged badly because it requires zero investment to start this service and not really any great knowledge regarding the financial markets and Astrology.
I started astrology with my grandfather at the age of 8, and financial astrology at the age of 17 when I started investing and trading in the market. I finished studying economics and commerce, so I had a very fair knowledge and good grasp on the fundamentals of how the economy and the financial world works.
From age 17 to 25, I kept working hard with the Astro combinations and the market behavior patterns. I found a great relationship with the market pattern and human behavior pattern when planets are in certain houses. I studied the data of the last 100 years and saw that investors' actions through their sentiments and emotions move the market just like when gravitational forces move the Earth, the Moon, and the Sun. Between the ages of 17 and 25 (1984 to 1992), by researching past data, I was able to divide commodities, currencies, bonds, and the stock market behaviour patterns, because they all acted differently in the past. I was amazed by the accuracy level I was getting.
In 1996, I finally decided to put my own capital, all the money that I had to my name, which was then $15000, into the market to test my own theory “Astro cycle/wave of nature”. Most of you know the results: I made my first fortune of $2.3 million. At the same time, I was advising my close personal friends on where to invest.
This first success gave birth to my first Book, which was launched in South Africa, with SABC on the 9th of September 2001, and soon MahendraProphecy.com was born. I finished 19 books and have probably written tens of thousands of pages in the last 25 years.
I never felt ashamed to acknowledge whenever I was wrong. I built a track record through all my hard work, but now I see that anyone can start a social media account and begin advising people without any profound, deeper knowledge of the astrological cycles and their behavioural patterns. 98% of Indian financial astrologers don’t have any financial degree, nor do they have any understanding or deep knowledge of the economy, which is making it so risky for people who blindly follow these so-called “financial astrologers or market astrologers”. I am scared that this large crowd will damage or destroy the name of this great scientific subject of astrology.
Please don’t listen to these people who don’t have great track records. I invest my own money and guide people at the same time. ABN Amro bank launched a fund with me in 2005, but I walked out as the subscription documents didn’t allow five words “Astro cycle” and “Wave of Nature”.
My son Ronak joined me, and I only allowed him to do so because he not only has knowledge of the Astro cycles, but he worked in the financial industry at Merrill Lynch’s and JP Morgan. He has been helping me for the last one and a half decades, editing my work and learning astro-cycle from me. It is a great risk to become an advisor if we don’t have any knowledge of what is happening in the financial markets.
I am 57, and for the last almost 40 years have been investing, working in the market, and writing about the market, and I still feel that I haven’t even able to even scratch the surface of this great subject of astrology, which is hidden but also exists everywhere, in every particle of this universe. Astrology is not only a study of the planets, it represents the five elements. The formation of astrology was before life started when the universe began, galaxies formed, and nature formed, creating climatic conditions to give life to earth, and life was born on earth. Nature not only provided us with life, but also provided us with senses, which gave birth to thoughts and feelings, and then reasoning came (why and how), which put us where we are today.
I spend time in meditation and try to understand the law of nature through spirituality. I believe in humanity and have little interest in religion because they are all man-made. It only created conflicts. Humans put God at the center of religion. We all come from different religions and all walk together, breathe the same air, drink the same water, because nature doesn’t see a difference, and we don’t have the power to divide nature; otherwise, we could have done so long back.
This letter has touched on various subjects related to religion, and it is a sensitive issue for many, so I will leave it here.
